Come Sunday and Kalyaninagar will come alive with the happy shrieks of cyclists, fitness enthusiasts and families who will be out on the streets for a few hours of unadulterated fun at the fourth edition of ‘Raahein – Joy of Cycling’, a Times of India campaign to promote cycling.

The carnival of fun and games for the entire family will also involve other enjoyable activities like running, street soccer and Zumba. A dedicated kids’ zone will allow young children to join in the fun too.

Families who participated in the last three Raahein events said they found it both refreshing and relaxing to do something different on Sunday mornings. The event, which focuses on the environmental and health benefits of riding cycles, has also been appreciated for the quality family time that it enables participants to . Families with toddlers, fitness enthusiasts and even those who forgot their bicycle soon after school, got back to it with great enthusiasm. The event saw youngsters come out for a ride with friends, while many parents used the opportunity to teach their children cycling.
